Why sponsors partner with SEEC-SA
Your brand reaches qualified educators from across South Africa and beyond — many from schools with real budget influence — alongside bursary delegates from under-resourced schools, final-year student educators about to enter the profession, visiting Space Center Houston executives and a working astronaut. Day 3 brings 50 learners into the room, with a public astronaut talk that evening extending reach into the broader Cape Town community.
Gold, Silver & Bronze partnership tiers
We'd rather find what matters to your organisation than offer a generic package. Specific benefits per tier — exhibition footprint, brand placement, programme acknowledgements, executive engagement — are tailored in conversation.
Gold
Our leading partnership level — strong brand presence, premium exhibition positioning and executive engagement opportunities with SCH and our astronaut guests.
Silver
Strong brand presence across digital and print, an exhibition stand, and networking access with the 300+ educators and industry professionals in the room.
Bronze
Brand acknowledgement and networking access — ideal for foundations and educator-focused partners looking to support the mission directly.
Contributions in goods, services, flights, accommodation, transport, equipment or media support count toward a tier at fair value, agreed with you in writing before we confirm the level.
Every fund has a unit cost, accounted for afterwards to the rand
| Fund | Unit Cost | What It Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Educator Accessibility Fund | R5,250 / educator | Full three-day conference and the Friday gala for one educator from an under-resourced school. |
| Learner Accessibility Fund | R1,500 / learner | Day 3 participation for one learner — food, materials and rocket motors for the launches. |
| Learner Transport | R15,000 | Transport for 30 learners from across the Western Cape, many from township and rural schools. |
| General Conference Subsidy | R1,000 / educator | Reduces the standard delegate fee from R4,900 to R3,900 for paying educators. |
| Speaker Flights | By arrangement | Return flights for international and national presenters, including a Space Center Houston executive and an astronaut. |
| Space Center Houston Licence | By designation | The international licence that allows the conference to carry the SEEC name. |
Space Center Houston takes up to 25% of general (undesignated) sponsorship toward the international licence fee. Contributions designated to a specific fund are applied to that fund in full. This event is not-for-profit — any surplus goes to the following year's accessibility funds.
