Meet the voices of SEEC South Africa 2027
Astronauts, space scientists, industry leaders and educators bringing space into every classroom.
Who's already in the room
Additional keynote and panel speakers — including local space industry leaders and space education voices — will be announced as they're confirmed.
Present at the first SEEC in Africa
We are bringing Space Center Houston's flagship educators' conference to South Africa for the first time, and we're looking for presenters to help fill the room. Sessions should be innovative, content-driven, tied to space exploration, interactive and engaging — at least 50% of each session must be hands-on, a hallmark of SEEC.
We welcome STEM sessions, STEM-with-art integration (STEAM), and cross-curricular work bringing space into the arts, history, languages and humanities. Sessions that work particularly well cover mathematics integration, current NASA and African space missions (SANSA, SKA, MeerKAT), space habitats, AI in space, and space-themed coding and robotics.
We strongly encourage educators to team up with space industry professionals, scientists and astronomers as co-presenters — these collaborations bring authentic learning experiences to the room.

Presenters representing organisations may not use a session to promote or sell products or services, and sponsorship does not buy a session slot. Recognition comes through exhibition space, the programme and the platform — this protects the quality of the conference for everyone in the room.
Be in the room when Africa's first Space Exploration Educators Conference opens its doors.
Registration opens 15 June 2026. Pre-Launch tickets close when we hit 100. Bursary applications open 15 June and close 3 July.
